Job Overview
The Parts Specialist provides high-quality service to retail and installer customers and supports store management in daily tasks.
Essential Job Functions
- Promote all customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
- Greet and assist customers in selecting merchandise.
- Support professional customers alongside managers and specialists.
- Complete relevant training.
- Handle phone inquiries, provide quotes, and recommend products.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately.
- Process exchanges and returns per policies.
- Resolve customer complaints courteously.
- Assist with store operations like stocking and planogram updates.
- Perform operational tasks, including merchandise returns and inventory counts.
- Operate store equipment after training.
- Perform in-store services (e.g., installing wipers, testing batteries).
- Drive delivery vehicle as needed, meeting driving record requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- ASE certification.
- Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish.
