Job Overview

The Parts Specialist provides high-quality service to retail and installer customers and supports store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions

1. Promote all company customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
3. Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Handle customer calls professionally, lookup parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
6. Maintain and secure cash drawer, process transactions accurately.
7. Process exchanges and returns per company policies.
8. Resolve customer complaints amicably.
9. Assist with store image updates, stocking, and cleaning.
10. Perform operational tasks like returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts.
11. Operate store equipment after training.
12. Provide in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and vehicle diagnostics where lawful.
13. Occasionally drive delivery vehicles as needed, meeting driving eligibility requirements.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
