Marine Systems, Inc is hiring a Warehouse/Parts Manager in our Baton Rouge facility. Responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse and ensuring optimal product, parts, and supply stocking levels are met.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise Warehouse personnel's daily activities.
2. Supervise Inventory Control Analyst in inventory administration.
3. Manage Customer Service Representatives when requested.
4. Verify credit ratings of customers for quotations or orders.
5. Compute prices, discounts, and shipping charges as required.
6. Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by customer-specified dates.
7. Initiate purchase requisitions and supervise purchase order administration.
8. Inform purchasing of back orders or items requiring expedition.
9. Collaborate with Sales, Field, and Shop personnel for shop production scheduling.
10. Monitor and approve weekly inventory cycle counts.
11. Oversee reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and approve inventory adjustments within authority limits.
12. Coordinate disposition of excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory items.
13. Manage core processes and procedures.
14. Ensure current and accurate material safety data sheets.
15. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
16. Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

2. Influence safety by evaluating performance, participating in safety meetings, and developing improvement initiatives.
