We are looking for an outgoing and energetic person to join the Parts Department at Goodman Truck & Tractor in Amelia, VA. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for selling parts and accessories to all customers; over the counter, through the shop, or over the phone.

As a Parts Specialist must have great communication skills and be a competent listener as the customer will explain what they're looking for and it's your job to find the part!

Responsibilities And Duties

• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in the selection of parts and accessories.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Review parts lists on work orders from the Service Department ensuring all the parts are ordered correctly to complete the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify the Parts Manager of out of stock parts.
• Notify the Service Advisor when special order parts arrive.
• Pull orders for delivery to the Service Department, making sure all the parts for the job are in house and properly organized for the job and customer.
• Follow up on back ordered parts.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed to the service repair order.
• Keep records of all parts associated with repair orders, insurance estimates and special order parts.
• Merchandize, stock, and maintain the Parts and Accessories showroom
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience in retail sales.
• Experience using computers
• Must be willing to work Saturdays ( if in the future shop reopens on Sat mornings)
• Lift up to 100lbs. (Example Brake Drum)
