Job summary

Astec is seeking a parts coordinator to determine customer requirements, price quotes, and place orders within internal systems. You will work with engineering, service, controls, sales, shipping, and manufacturing to fulfill requests.

Responsibilities include locating parts, preparing quotations, processing orders, and following up with customers and dealers. Occasional travel to call on customers and attend events is required.

Qualifications

• English fluency in speaking and writing.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Astec direct customers and dealers.
• Locate the correct parts and prepare quotations as requested.
• Process all parts sales orders accurately.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and other departments.
• Follow up on quotes and orders with customers.
• Travel 1–2 times per year to call on direct customers and dealers.
