Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Wisconsin is seeking a warehouse associate to pack and prepare products for shipment, following customer orders and policies.

You will be responsible for accurate shipping, reporting in the ERP system, and maintaining 5S standards. The role supports continuous improvement in the distribution center and requires a high school diploma and 0-2 years' experience.

Evening shift 2:30pm-10:30pm; pay $21.35 per hour with 2.50 shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Packs and prepares products for shipment as specified in customer orders.
• Delivers complete and accurate shipping of all products.
• Reports accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system.

• Prepares documentation for shipments.
• Maintains basic 5S and housekeeping for the area.
• Participates in team meetings and shares job-related information.

Pay Rate: $19.10 + $2.50 shift premium = $21.35 per hour

Packs and prepares products for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products. Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system. Supports goals and continued improvement of PDC. Prepare appropriate documentation for shipments. Ownership of basic 5S and housekeeping for area. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Receives instruction, guidance, and direction for production.
• Meets picking and packing expectations.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments for non-conformity and escalates to appropriate leadership.
• Performs routine assignments.
• Demonstrates responsibility for attendance, quality, and attention to detail.
• Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• Uses company equipment and materials properly.
• Strives to increase productivity.
• Approaches others in a tactful manner, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position.
• Accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments.Participate in team meetings and exchange job related information.

Requirements:

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
