Job summary

Bane-Welker Equipment seeks an Agricultural Parts Sales Specialist to assist customers in selecting parts and answer questions. You will use catalogs, inventory systems, and dealer resources to find correct parts and ensure accurate records.

In this role you’ll collaborate with service technicians and managers, maintain organized inventory, and help keep the parts department running smoothly. A genuine interest in agricultural equipment and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to customers in person and over the phone.
• Identify customer needs and assist with finding the correct parts and solutions.
• Research parts using electronic catalogs, manufacturer resources, and other systems.
• Work closely with Service Technicians and Service Managers to support repair needs.
• Build relationships with customers through timely communication and follow-through.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts and inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are identified and located.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering parts as needed.
• Process parts sales, returns, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and professional.
• Stay current on new equipment, parts, technology, and product information.
• Participate in training and develop product and industry knowledge.
• Support other parts department and dealership needs as assigned.

Bane-Welker Equipment is seeking an Agricultural Parts Sales Specialist to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our customers and service technicians by providing knowledgeable, responsive parts support while maintaining accurate and well-organized inventory.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping people, is comfortable using technology, and has a willingness to learn. Experience in the agricultural equipment industry is valuable, and a background as an agricultural or diesel technician can provide a strong foundation for success in this role.

What You’ll Do

Work is performed in an office, maintenance shop and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, speaking, listening and motor coordination.
