Job summary

Carolina International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a motivated Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team in South Carolina.

You will assist customers with identifying and purchasing heavy‑duty truck parts, provide excellent service, and support daily parts department operations. Key duties include guiding customers on part selections, quoting prices, processing orders, and keeping work areas tidy while staying current on new products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in heavy-duty truck parts sales or equivalent.
• Experience selling heavy-duty All Make parts across truck/engine brands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Inform customers of compatible parts and promotions to showcase full product line.
• Answer phone calls with price quotes and information.
• Process orders, locate out-of-stock parts, and arrange emergency orders if needed.
• Maintain clean front and rear counter areas and participate in training.

Carolina International Trucks is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with identifying and purchasing heavy-duty truck parts, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting daily parts department operations.

• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
• Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
• Participates in all training programs that are made available.
• Keeps current on new products and product updates.

Education and/or Experience

• A minimum 3 years of heavy-duty truck parts sales experience required.
• Experience in selling heavy duty “All Make” parts, truck, and engine parts (CAT, Cummins, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International, Freightliner, etc.).
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Impeccable customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills a must. Procede software experience a plus.
