Job summary

Carolina International Trucks, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Clerk in Greer, SC to support the parts warehouse. You will receive, store, and ship parts, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist with deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Valid forklift operator's license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and input parts into the inventory system.
• Store parts in designated locations and label for easy retrieval.
• Pick and pack parts for outgoing orders and prepare shipping docs.
• Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform basic maintenance.
• Complete other tasks, including local deliveries as needed.

Job description

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for assisting with the efficient and accurate operation of the parts warehouse. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing parts to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and maintain an organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving:
  • Inspect incoming parts for damage or defects.
  • Verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders.
  • Accurately record and input received items into the inventory management system.
  • Operating forklifts
• Storing:
  • Organize and store parts in designated locations according to established procedures.
  • Label and tag parts appropriately for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Distributing:
  • Pick and pack parts for outgoing orders based on customer requirements.
  • Verify part numbers and quantities before shipping.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips and shipping labels.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts and adjustments.
  • Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Other Duties:
  • Complete other tasks as assigned, such as assisting with warehouse projects or cleaning duties.
  • Will complete local deliveries of parts as needed (driving company van)

Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• Work in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to temperature fluctuations, dust, and noise.
