_ Summary:_
Lone Star Chevrolet is looking for a high-energy Parts Counter Sales Specialist who thrives on driving retail and wholesale parts sales and delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, you'll process orders, proactively engage customers, build relationships with wholesale accounts, and help grow our parts department revenue.
_ Duties and Responsibilities:_
- Proactively sell automotive parts to retail customers, repair shops, and wholesale accounts to help drive department growth.
- Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service at the counter and over the phone.
- Handle incoming calls and online inquiries with a sales-first mindset; provide pricing, availability, and recommendations to close the sale.
- Maintain relationships with wholesale accounts and actively seek new opportunities for parts sales.
- Accurately process orders, ensuring timely delivery or pickup for both retail and wholesale customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with vendors to source parts efficiently.
- Assist service technicians in identifying and obtaining needed parts to keep repairs on track.
- Stay up to date on new products, promotions, and parts trends to maximize sales opportunities.
- Perform regular inventory checks and ensure parts records are accurate.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive dealership parts counter experience , handling both retail and wholesale parts sales.
- Experience in building customer relationships and driving parts sales to meet/exceed revenue targets.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and systems; ability to quickly identify and source correct parts.
- Experience using dealership DMS and parts catalog systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds, PartsEdge, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with a sales-first mindset; able to confidently engage retail customers and wholesale accounts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders, inquiries, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, drug test, Motor Vehicle Report check, and have a valid driver's license.
Additional Information
** Compensation (Draw / Commission):**
- Typical Monthly Earnings: $4,000 - $6,500+ / per month
- Actual earnings depend on retail and wholesale parts sales. Top performers can exceed this range depending on sales volume and results.
** Schedule** :
- FULL TIME
- Sundays Always Off
- Saturday Availability Required
