K-Five Construction Corporation in Hodgkins, IL is seeking a shop/parts handler to receive, stock, and move parts and materials for daily operations. You will support mechanics and field crews by ensuring parts availability and accurate inventory, while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.
Responsibilities include pre-trip equipment checks, forklift operation, driving to supplier locations, and maintaining records. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.
Receives, stores, and distributes parts, tools, equipment, and products within the shop and field. Operates computer and compiles data from vendor invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data and inventory to ensure receipt of items ordered. Maintains shop work benches and floor to a cleanliness and safe environment. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the construction industry and the schedule can be flexible around someone attending school.
