Job summary

Stevens Creek BMW, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is hiring a Parts Runner to ensure timely delivery and accurate organization of automotive parts within the dealership and to external vendors or customers.

The role supports the Parts and Service Departments by maintaining inventory movement, assisting technicians, and upholding service standards. Compensation is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour with full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive parts, parts systems or catalog software.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, teamwork skills and customer-service mindset.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts between dealership departments, vendors, and customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper labeling in the parts storage areas.
• Support technicians and service advisors by delivering requested parts quickly and efficiently.
• Load and unload parts deliveries safely, following dealership procedures.
• Assist with returns, core processing, and warranty parts as directed.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with vendors and clients.
