Stevens Creek BMW, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking a Parts Runner in San Jose to ensure timely delivery and pickup of automotive parts across departments and with external vendors. You’ll support service teams by maintaining inventory flow and accurate labeling, while delivering parts safely in a fast-paced setting.

Summary

The Parts Runner is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery, pickup, and organization of automotive parts within the dealership and to external vendors or customers. This role supports the Parts and Service Departments by ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory movement, and upholding service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts between dealership departments, vendors, and customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper labeling in the parts storage areas.
• Support technicians and service advisors by delivering requested parts quickly and efficiently.
• Load and unload parts deliveries safely, following dealership procedures.
• Assist with returns, core processing, and warranty parts as directed.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with vendors and clients.

• Familiarity with (Brand) automotive parts, parts systems or catalog software.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, teamwork skills and customer-service mindset.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.

Additional Information

Compensation:

• $19.00 to $21.00 per hour

(The Parts Runner Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.00 and $21.00.)

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday thru Saturday availability
• Rotational Shifts (8am to 5pm)
