Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Parts Runner to ensure timely delivery and retrieval of parts, materials, and supplies to and from job sites, suppliers, and customers. The ideal candidate is reliable and detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain delivery logs, assist with inventory, and help keep company vehicles maintained. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive, or diesel truck parts is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport parts, materials, and supplies between the company, suppliers, and job sites. Ensure accurate and timely delivery and retrieval of items.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by recording deliveries and pickups. Help with inventory organization and restocking.
• Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition. Report any issues or required maintenance to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including obtaining necessary signatures and completing delivery logs.
• Interact professionally with suppliers, customers, and team members. Address any questions or concerns regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling and transporting parts and materials.
• Provide support to other team members as needed, which may include helping with general shop duties, organizing parts, or other related tasks.
