Job summary

Cash Construction Corp in Texas seeks a driver/maintenance technician to perform daily vehicle inspections, manage DOT logs when operating commercial vehicles, and maintain the equipment yard and shop areas. The role also covers tracking POs/invoices and assisting technicians with repairs.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, experience fueling equipment, and the ability to safely operate heavy construction equipment and trucks plus effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment yard and shop areas.
• Wash equipment and assist technicians with repairs to heavy construction equipment and trucks.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Responsible for issued company vehicles.
• Daily inspections of vehicle’s tires, lights, fluids and onboard company equipment and tooling. The vehicle is to be always kept in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Maintaining daily log of all the locations visited. All DOT driver’s logs are to be maintained and turned in if the driver operates a commercial rated vehicle.
• Responsible for keeping track of all POs and Invoices, for his/her deliveries; to be turned in daily.
• Maintaining equipment yard and shop areas.
• Wash equipment and assist technicians with repairs to various types of heavy construction equipment and trucks.

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate driver’s license prior to employment.
• Physical exertion required, including but not limited to lifting and carrying heavy items up to 80 pounds or more, climb and access heavy equipment, stooping, walking and bending.
