Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. oversees inventory control in the storeroom, including receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items. It supports team members in the parts room and ensures accurate task completion.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records in the system, organizing parts in bins with proper min/max levels, and handling storeroom operations when the Supervisor is absent. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and communicate effectively with staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 6 months+ in maintenance or a parts room preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for talking with employees, management and suppliers.
• Basic math skills; read/write; detail oriented; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inventory control in the storeroom, including receiving and storing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items.
• Support team members in the parts room and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain inventory records in the system and organize parts in designated bins with proper min/max levels.
• Manage storeroom operations when the Supervisor is absent; perform other duties as assigned.
