Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks an inventory control helper to oversee storeroom activities, including receiving, storing and managing maintenance supplies. You will support the parts room, keep accurate records, and organize parts with appropriate min/max levels.

When the Supervisor is away, you’ll run storeroom operations and handle additional tasks as assigned. The role requires basic computer skills, experience in maintenance or a parts room, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 6 months+ in maintenance or a parts room preferred.
• Computer skills: basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control in the storeroom including receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items.
• Support team members in the parts room and ensure accurate and timely task completion.
• Maintain inventory records in the system and organize parts with designated bins and min/max levels.
• Manage storeroom operations in Supervisor's absence and perform other assigned tasks as needed.
