The successful candidate will work with the maintenance and production teams, prioritize work based on safety and availability, and coordinate parts and contractor support as needed. Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow directions.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical crafts and procedures including millwright, pipefitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, sheet metal, and machinist skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of electricity including AC/DC, electronics, power distribution, and circuitry protection.

  • Promote and ensure safe work habits and improve safety procedures and goals.
  • Ensure equipment, parts, and personnel are available through procurement and inventory management to complete work orders with minimal downtime.
  • Prioritize and plan maintenance work with operations based on equipment availability and safety impact.
  • Create and delegate daily work orders from maintenance requests and planned/preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Review and close completed work orders with attention to time, materials, and notes.
  • Provide technical advice on equipment modification and maintenance estimates.
  • Collect data on equipment breakdowns and monitor progress on complex problems.
  • Implement and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate outside contractors for special projects or to supplement maintenance workforce.

Job DescriptionThe role of the Parts Room & Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access while adhering to all environment, health and safety (EHS) rules. The Parts Room & Maintenance Planner is an integral part of the Maintenance Team. This role is a partner of the maintenance and production teams that works together to ensure the effective capacity utilization, reliability, and life cycle asset management.SHIFTS AVAILABLE:1st shift: Monday-FridayCOMPENSATION:$30-$35/hrBENEFITS:- Benefits Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision!- Retirement: 401(k) match up to 8%WHAT YOU GET TO DOPromote and assure safe work habits including compliance and improvements to company and departmental safety procedures and goals.Ensure that all equipment, parts, and personnel are available through procurement and inventory management to efficiently complete each work order assignment with minimum downtime.Works with operations to prioritize and plan work based on equipment availability, resources, safety impact and availability of outside contractors if needed.Creates and delegates daily work orders based on maintenance requests, planned maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules.Review completed work orders for discrepancies compared to plan regarding time, materials, notes/comments, and completion of tasks.
