Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup is seeking a Parts Room Technician to ensure accurate, organized, and timely handling of parts and materials for production. You will manage receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance, while maintaining precise inventory records and transactions.

You will own inventory control activities, resolve discrepancies, and follow ISO/QMS procedures to improve material flow and parts room efficiency. A proactive, detail-oriented team player is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in inventory control, receiving, or material handling preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for up to 12 hours.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Inspect incoming materials per established specs and quality requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Issue materials to production per work orders.
• Complete receiving and material issuance in JD Edwards/TransCollector.
• Assist with weekly/monthly inventory reports and cycle counts.
