Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup in Rosenberg, TX, is seeking a Parts Room Technician to ensure accurate, organized, and timely handling of daily parts room activities to support production.

You will inspect and receive materials, maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality teams while following ISO 9001 and WireCo safety policies. This role requires attention to detail and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or ability to demonstrate basic literacy and math.
• 1–3 years of inventory control, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to learn to use micrometers and calipers; comfortable on concrete floors for long shifts.
• Forklift operation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming parts against packing slips and documentation.
• Inspect materials according to standards and quality requirements.
• Manage daily parts room activities ensuring timely completion and clear communication of issues.
• Identify, store, and organize parts in designated locations.
• Review work orders and specifications to issue correct materials to production.
• Record transactions in JD Edwards/TransCollector and maintain inventory records.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of material issuance and proper deduction from inventory.
• Maintain documentation of receiving, counts, movements, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
