MTI Distribution is seeking a Parts Sales Representative in Brooklyn Center, MN. You will be the primary contact for customer parts inquiries, orders, and product support, ensuring accurate parts identification, pricing, availability, and order fulfillment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will collaborate with Service Technicians, Sales Representatives, Purchasing, and Technical Service teams to provide timely solutions and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or related experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service, parts sales, inside sales, or equipment support preferred.
• Knowledge of turf, irrigation, agricultural, construction, or related equipment is a plus.
• Experience with parts lookup systems, ERP software, inventory management, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to read parts catalogs, schematics, and product information.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with parts inquiries, orders, pricing, availability, and product recommendations.
• Process orders received by phone, email, online, and walk-in customers.
• Perform parts lookups using manufacturer catalogs and internal systems.
• Verify part numbers, applications, and order accuracy.
• Manage will-call orders and provide counter sales support.
• Process customer transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate order status, lead times, backorders, and alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with Service, Sales, Purchasing, and Technical Service teams to resolve customer needs.
• Maintain product knowledge of equipment, parts, and manufacturer updates.
• Support inventory accuracy, order tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Position Summary

The Parts Sales Representative is the primary point of contact for customer parts inquiries, orders, and product support. This role helps customers maximize equipment uptime by providing accurate parts identification, pricing, availability, and order fulfillment while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The position works closely with customers, Service Technicians, Sales Representatives, Purchasing, and Technical Service teams to ensure timely and accurate solutions.
