Job summary

Timpte Inc in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Parts Representative to manage inventory and sales of parts at the local Customer Service Center. The role focuses on growing parts sales through phone, email, online and in-person interactions, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no weekends.

Compensation includes $24–$30 per hour, with quarterly bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid time off and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in parts and/or service preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
• Must have an insurable driving record and valid drivers’ license.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for growth of parts sales through customer interaction via phone, email, online and counter sales.
• Calls on large customer accounts to increase sales.
• Responsible to understand and comply with all Branch Parts Policies and Procedures and also for Service Policy and Procedures as it relates to the parts business.
