Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking an experienced Parts Purchasing Agent to join our Fleet team. You will actively order, track, and reconcile parts and materials for our fleet warehouse, supporting mechanics and maintaining a safe work environment.

You will oversee purchase orders, collaborate with the Fleet Parts Associate, and manage receipt and storage of parts from vendors. Strong communication and accurate reporting are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Must have prior heavy truck or automotive parts experience.
  • Current drivers license (non-CDL) and clean driving history.
  • Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Experience with parts warehouse work flow and processing.
  • General knowledge of desktop computer applications and electronic purchase order systems.
  • General knowledge of construction equipment; preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projects.
  • Physical job requirements include being able to lift up to 50 lbs.

What we offer:

The hourly pay for this role is between $25 - $30. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus. Aldridge provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following:
