Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking an Assistant Logistics Coordinator to support our Logistics team with administrative and operational tasks. You will manage data, invoicing, reporting, and transportation documentation to keep processes accurate and on track.

The role offers a growth path in heavy haul transportation and logistics, with opportunities to take on more coordination responsibilities as you develop knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Previous administrative, logistics, transportation, construction, or accounting support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the logistics department.
  • Process transportation invoices and reconcile billing information.
  • Maintain transportation, permit, equipment, and carrier data across multiple software systems.
  • Assist with preparing hauling estimates and project cost information for internal teams.

Assistant Logistics Coordinator

Aldridge is seeking an Assistant Logistics Coordinator to join our talented Logistics team. This role provides administrative and operational support to the logistics team by ensuring accurate data management, invoicing, billing, reporting, and transportation documentation. You are responsible for maintaining organized records, supporting day-to-day logistics operations, and assisting with permit and transportation coordination activities.

This position is designed as a growth opportunity for someone interested in building a career in heavy haul transportation and logistics. As knowledge and experience develop, the Assistant Logistics Coordinator will progressively assume additional logistics coordination responsibilities.

What you’ll do:
  • Demonstrate and promote Aldridge's Core Safety Values in all work activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics department.
  • Process transportation invoices and reconcile billing information while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Maintain transportation, permit, equipment, and carrier data across multiple software systems.
    • Enter outside trucking moves into company tracking software and spreadsheets.
    • Review transportation documentation for completeness and accuracy.
    • File and organize transportation records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with preparing hauling estimates and project cost information for internal operations teams.
  • Assist with carrier communications and maintaining carrier information.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational metrics for the logistics team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, documentation, and data accuracy.
  • Learn transportation regulations, permitting requirements, and logistics operations while progressively taking on additional coordination responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including temporary assignments and training-related travel.
Who you are:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Previous administrative, logistics, transportation, construction, or accounting support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to learn transportation management software and internal business systems.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn heavy haul transportation, permitting, and logistics operations.

What we offer:

The salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $75,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus. Aldridge provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following:
