Job summary

Hyspeco, Inc. seeks a warehouse associate in Missouri to pick, pull, and stage parts orders and cut industrial hose to spec using approved equipment. You will verify accuracy, stock and replenish inventory, and maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures.

Responsibilities include measuring, assembling kits, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks while following safety guidelines and using scanners for inventory movements.

Qualifications

• Must read pick lists and work orders and identify part numbers.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners is preferred.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Must be able to perform basic math for lengths and quantities.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for accurately picking, preparing, and staging parts orders to support safe, on-time delivery and internal production needs. This role cuts industrial hose to specification using approved equipment, verifies order accuracy, and maintains organized work areas while following Hyspeco safety requirements and supporting ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pick, pull, and stage parts orders using pick tickets/work orders and required handling methods.
• Measure and cut industrial hose to required lengths using approved cutting equipment and verify dimensions prior to release.
• Assemble kits and component bundles to specification and in the required sequence.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and special instructions; ensure order-level accuracy before packaging or staging.
• Inspect parts and hose assemblies for damage or defects and confirm quality requirements are met prior to fulfillment.
• Maintain clean, organized picking areas and hose-cutting/tool stations to support safe and efficient operations.
• Stock, rotate, and replenish inventory in assigned locations; notify the supervisor of shortages or discrepancies.
• Use warehouse and inventory systems and scanners, as applicable, to transact picks, transfers, and inventory movements.
• Move materials using material-handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, while following safe lifting and rigging practices.
• Identify and report defective materials, damage, or questionable conditions to the supervisor; assist with containment as directed.
• Make pick-ups and deliveries to suppliers as assigned using a company vehicle; maintain required documentation and follow safety expectations.
• Demonstrate ownership of safety by following all safety policies and procedures, using required PPE, and immediately reporting incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 requirements by maintaining accurate records and identifying nonconforming products in accordance with quality procedures and processes.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order picking experience; experience using warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, or ERP transactions; and forklift or material-handling equipment experience preferred.

Compensation

$20 - $22 hourly
