Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina, KS, is seeking a Parts Operations Manager to oversee the Great Plains and Land Pride Parts operations in Salina and Enterprise, Kansas. This role also has oversight of the 3rd Function Valve Team in Salina.

The position will manage incoming and outgoing shipments, define KPIs, and improve parts handling with cross-site collaboration. Day travel between sites is required and compliance with safety policies is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years' leadership experience in a management role.
• 5+ years' warehouse management experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing movement of raw materials and finished products, maintain inventory accuracy.
• Define performance metrics and KPIs with weekly reporting to monitor progress.
• Maintain parts management in terms of Country of Origin, labelling, and inventory accuracy.
• Create processes to streamline operations and ordering procedures between the Land Pride and Great Plains Parts Departments.
• Monitor material handling equipment for defects and notify maintenance or outside service.
• Determine staff hours, number of personnel, and parts required for service across departments.
• Recommend measures to improve spare parts handling and delivery methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Store and retrieve material handling data using computer.
