Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota company, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Salina, KS. This on-site role typically works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in our Salina facility.

The engineer will drive cross-functional efforts, manage schedules and design reviews, and help improve fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly processes. Strong problem-solving and project-management skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training is acceptable.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to manage manufacturing timelines.

Responsibilities

• Systematically drive actions and accountability to required tasks and deliverables to the predetermined program timeline.
• Lead cross-disciplinary groups to meet critical milestone deadlines.
• Document and close open issues, actions, owners, and dates.
• Create and maintain detailed schedules and report progress to management.
• Manage design review processes, production preparation, and production trials.
