Job summary

GP Motor Company seeks a detail‑driven Parts Manager to oversee the full parts workflow for our vehicle reconditioning operation. You will own sourcing, ordering, receiving, inventory, installation coordination, and final Repair Order documentation to keep vehicles moving smoothly.

This hands‑on leadership role requires deep automotive parts knowledge, accurate record keeping, and the ability to minimize delays while maintaining high quality and efficiency in a fast‑paced shop setting.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge and reconditioning experience.
• Ability to research and source parts from multiple suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Repair Orders and dealer management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection results and identify required parts.
• Source parts from dealerships, manufacturers, aftermarket suppliers, online marketplaces, salvage yards, and other vendors.
• Verify part numbers, fitment, pricing, availability, and delivery dates.
• Balance cost, quality, and delivery time when purchasing parts.
• Track orders, backorders, and returns; coordinate with technicians.
• Maintain parts inventory and Repair Orders in Dealertrack.
• Direct and prioritize the Parts Assistant.
• Stage parts for installation based on vehicle priority.
