Stewart & Stevenson is hiring a Parts Manager in Dallas, TX to lead the daily operations of the parts department. You will manage staffing, inventory, sales, and budget performance while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; four to ten years related experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• Some college strongly preferred.
• Prior managerial experience required.
• Prior sales experience (retail and wholesale) required.
• Strong technical product knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the parts department.
• Ensure adequate manpower and supplies to complete work.
• Manage all parts department functions including sales, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
• Develop and manage annual departmental budget and monitor progress toward goals.
• Review and utilize P&L statements and monitor gross profit levels.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Plan and direct annual physical inventory.
• Hire, counsel, and discharge parts staff as necessary.
