Job summary

M&K Truck Centers is seeking an experienced Parts Manager in Toledo, OH to oversee the daily operations of the parts department. The role focuses on leading staff, optimizing purchasing, and maintaining strong inventory control to meet sales and profit goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in parts management or related field.
• Experience with large tractor-trailer parts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the parts department to achieve sales and profit goals through effective inventory management and purchasing practices.
• Provide coaching and training to parts staff to meet departmental objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee discipline when necessary.
• Manage hiring and build a capable parts department team.
• Ensure the special orders policy functions properly.
• Monitor parts returns to prevent obsolescence and loss.
• Enforce safety protocols including forklift training and safety sheets.
