Job summary

O’Neill’s Chevrolet in Avon, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department and drive parts availability and profitability.

This hands-on role requires inventory management, coordination with Service and Sales, and a focus on efficient, accurate parts operations. We offer a five-day work week with no weekends or holidays, in a stable, long-established dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts management and inventory management experience required.
• GM/Chevrolet dealership parts experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to lead employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day Parts Department operations
• Maintain appropriate parts inventory levels and availability
• Monitor inventory aging, obsolescence, and special-order parts
• Manage ordering, receiving, returns, and manufacturer programs
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and controls
• Monitor department gross profit, expenses, and overall performance
• Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the parts needed to complete repairs efficiently
• Manage wholesale and retail parts activity
• Supervise and support Parts Department employees
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient department

Automotive Parts Manager

O’Neill’s Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. We are looking for a hands-on manager with strong automotive parts experience and a proven ability to manage inventory, control expenses, and support a busy service operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager looking for a stable position with a five-day work week, no weekends, and no holidays.
