Job description

Description

Anchorage, AK | Porsche | Audi | Volkswagen | Luxury European brands | Parts Manager | Fixed Ops | Alaska | Veterans encouraged to apply | $60,000 - $80,000/yr

IS THIS YOU?
  • You've run a parts department and own the full picture -- inventory, gross profit, fill rates, obsolescence, and team development
  • You manage by metrics, build process, and understand the unique operational demands of running parts in a remote market
  • You're looking for a meaningful leadership role at a multi-brand European luxury operation in one of the country's most distinctive markets
WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Porsche Audi Volkswagen of Anchorage represents three of the most respected European automotive brands under one roof -- serving Alaska's most discerning vehicle owners in a market that demands both technical excellence and operational discipline. Running parts in Anchorage requires more than standard dealership experience. Supply chains are longer, lead times are real, and inventory decisions carry more weight. The Parts Manager here needs to be sharp, proactive, and deeply familiar with how to keep a multi-brand operation running without interruption.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead all parts department operations across Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen -- managing inventory, staffing, vendor relationships, and daily workflow to support three distinct service operations
  • Drive parts department profitability -- owning gross profit, fill rates, inventory turn, and obsolescence control across all three brands
  • Manage ordering and stocking decisions with Alaska's logistics realities in mind -- anticipating lead times, planning for seasonal demand, and maintaining the inventory depth the market requires
  • Develop and hold accountable a parts team -- building capability, accuracy, and a culture of consistent execution
  • Manage OEM parts programs, warranty parts processes, and manufacturer return procedures for Porsche, Audi, and VW with full compliance
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and OEM relationships to ensure parts availability and program optimization
  • Partner with service management across all three brands to align parts supply with service demand
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, cycle counts, and bin organization standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 3+ years of parts manager experience in a franchised dealership -- European or luxury brand experience strongly preferred
  • Multi-brand parts management experience a significant plus -- managing Porsche, Audi, and VW parts systems simultaneously requires organizational depth
  • Strong command of parts department financials -- fill rate, gross profit, inventory turn, and obsolescence management
  • Experience managing parts logistics in a remote or geographically challenging market a strong advantage
  • Comfortable with DMS platforms and OEM parts ordering systems -- ETKA, PCAS, or equivalent VW Group/Porsche systems experience preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and lead a parts team in a demanding, multi-brand environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
WHAT WE OFFER
  • $60,000 - $80,000/yr
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Relocation assistance considered for the right candidate
  • Career growth -- strong parts managers at Swickard grow into fixed ops director and multi-store leadership roles
  • Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
  • The opportunity to lead parts operations for three premier European brands in a market where your expertise is genuinely irreplaceable
WHY PORSCHE AUDI VOLKSWAGEN OF ANCHORAGE
  • Three of the world's most technically respected European brands under one roof -- the parts knowledge and operational scope here is unlike any single-brand store
  • Anchorage is a close-knit professional community where your expertise and reliability build a lasting reputation quickly
  • Alaska's remoteness creates real operational challenges -- and a Parts Manager who navigates them well becomes genuinely indispensable to the operation
  • Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry
  • Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- shape how we lead our teams just as much as how we serve our guests
  • A leadership role with real scope, real impact, and a team that depends on your expertise every day

Managing parts for Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen in Anchorage is a role that demands real expertise -- and rewards it. The logistics are more complex, the inventory decisions carry more weight, and the guests depend on a well-run parts operation to keep their vehicles on Alaska's roads. The Parts Manager who steps into this role will have genuine influence over a critical function at one of Alaska's most respected automotive operations.

If you're an experienced parts professional ready for a leadership role that tests your skills and rewards your expertise -- we'd like to meet you.
