Job summary

HITEC Power Protection seeks a Parts & Logistics Assistant to support daily parts, warehouse, inventory, shipping, and logistics for our nationwide Field Service organization. The role requires accuracy, urgency, and clear communication to ensure critical parts reach technicians on time.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, computer savvy, and able to work extended hours when needed to meet urgent shipment needs. Prior experience in parts or logistics is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in parts, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Forklift operation may be required; certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP and shipping systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts accurately based on work orders and service needs.
• Build service kits and prepare shipments for nationwide field teams.
• Receive, stock, and perform routine inventory checks.
• Process shipments via FedEx, UPS, and other carriers.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and safety practices.
• Assist with after-hours requests when needed.
