Job summary

HITEC Power Protection seeks a Parts and Logistics Lead to manage parts availability, inventory, and shipments for Service and Projects in the Americas. The role works with Service Coordinators, Project Managers, and technicians to ensure timely readiness and delivery.

You will own the end-to-end logistics process, including stock control, procurement support, vendor performance, and proactive risk management to keep field operations running smoothly across domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is not required.
• Equivalent relevant work experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory, or related fields is acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in parts, logistics, inventory management, shipping, or a similar operational role.

Responsibilities

• Organize courier shipments and freight forwarding.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all logistical activities.
• Forecast upcoming demand with Service Coordinators, Project Managers, and Service Managers.
• Prepare, kit, verify, and stage required parts for PMs, overhauls, outages, and projects.
• Develop and maintain standardized PM/overhaul kits and improve content.
• Validate parts requirements against Service Orders and set action plans for shortages.
• Coordinate customs brokers when required and prepare shipping docs.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments including air, ground, freight.
• Manage urgent same-day/next-flight-out shipments for outages.
• Own the ITT process and replenish stock in time.
• Photograph outbound shipments and maintain tracking logs.
• Communicate delays, shortages, ETAs, and recovery plans.
