Job summary

Coast Aviation Services, LLC is seeking a Parts & Logistics Coordinator in San Diego to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and optimize the flow of parts through receiving, storage, and dispatch. The role emphasizes accurate records, timely order processing, and close collaboration with procurement and packaging teams.

The ideal candidate has inventory control experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience in inventory control.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory while keeping it up to date.
  • Receiving and shipping parts.
  • Meticulous organization of inventory.
  • Maintain shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets.
  • Monitors and controls the order process, ensuring efficient and adequate flow of parts.
  • Issues purchase and work orders to generate product shipments.
  • Maintains status of orders through entire process.
  • Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked.
  • Maintains shipping and receiving schedules.
  • Performs required administrative tasks.
  • Monitors and controls the order process, ensuring efficient and adequate flow of goods.
  • Coordinates activities of departments to deliver efficient material movement to drive costs/inventory investment down while improving accuracy and response time to customers.
  • Works closely with the team on packaging, and procurement operations; provides necessary product quantities, correct orders, and on-time deliveries through proper daily production scheduling of packaging and processing materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SALARY RANGE:$20-$25 PER HOUR

JOB TYPE:Full-Time

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for keeping track of and coordinating parts, shipments and current product inventory; ensuring that inventory and parts move from one place to another efficiently and cost-effectively; working to plan, control, and implement the storage and flow of products, materials, information, or services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
