The role emphasizes accurate work orders and maximizing inventory utilization. You'll learn new maintenance-related technologies, monitor pricing, ship parts to nearby facilities, and perform daily cycle counts while ensuring inventory security and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and personal liability insurance.
• Ability to utilize computers for inventory and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process work orders accurately.
• Track charges from vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain organized inventory of parts for technicians.
• Learn technology related to maintenance and parts.
• Monitor vendors for pricing and serviceability.
• Prepare and ship parts to other facilities as needed.
• Monitor usage rates and adjust inventory accordingly.
• Perform daily cycle counts of maintenance parts.
• Advise Shop Manager on parts/inventory issues.
• Operate a forklift to move and load parts.
• Ensure security and quality of inventory.
