Job summary

OmniSource is looking for a proactive Parts Clerk to support the Parts Department by organizing and coordinating products. Responsibilities include transferring parts between locations, issuing parts to internal customers, stocking inventory, and handling communications via telephone and radio.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs daily. Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus valid driver’s license, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer parts to other locations or pick up parts from outside vendors as needed.
• Issue parts to internal customers and maintain work orders.
• Stock incoming parts and verify inventory.
• Answer the telephone and utilize a two-way radio.
• Practice all safety regulations.
• Clean work areas daily.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• All other tasks as assigned.
