Job summary

You will help ensure timely acquisition and accurate tracking of parts while maintaining inventory records and vendor relationships. The role emphasizes efficient distribution, safety, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) or more years of relevant inventory, procurement, automotive, heavy equipment, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and by phone to identify and locate required parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure parts availability.
• Organize, label, and store parts per procedures.
• Procure parts and materials based on operational needs and inventory requirements.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and related procurement documentation.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Process returns, warranty claims, and exchanges for damaged, defective, or incorrect parts.
• Coordinate the distribution of parts to internal departments and external customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment activities.
• Maintain organized storage areas and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
