Job summary

Alaska Marine Lines in Seattle is seeking a detail-oriented Parts and Inventory Coordinator to help manage inventory levels and movement, order and receive parts, and track materials as directed by the department.

This safety-sensitive role requires performing regular counts, reconciling data, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, and using forklifts and vehicles on-site. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required; two years related experience preferred in procurement, supply chain, or warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile system data.
• Review inventory data to identify slow-moving, surplus, or obsolete items and adjust orders.
• Initiate requisitions and purchase orders and expedite deliveries.
