Job summary

Leggett & Platt in Carthage, MO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to maintain parts and inventory, stock supplies, and support production and shipping operations.

You will work under supervision, handle dies and tooling, perform basic arithmetic, and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate records and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be able to write legibly and have good math skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Knowledge of maintenance tools.
• Team player with ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain orderly arrangement of all parts and supplies (dies, nibs, collars).
• Safeguard inventories against theft, waste, and unauthorized use.
• Maintain and process accurate inventory records (data-entry and relieving).
• Issue parts and necessary tooling.
• Inspect, receive and stock inventory as needed.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Identify damaged inventory.
• Deliver parts and supplies to requestors.
• Recognize wrong parts and correct the issue.
• Follow instructions and work under general supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing and vendor information.

General Job Duties
