Job summary

Leggett & Platt’s facility in Carthage, MO is seeking team-oriented personnel for general warehouse and module assembly tasks. The role focuses on keeping parts organized, safeguarding inventory, and supporting production with timely tooling deliveries.

Candidates should demonstrate basic math, legible handwriting, and the ability to work collaboratively. The position requires a standard WorkSteps physical and offers an equal opportunity employment environment.

• Demonstrates knowledge of maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain orderly arrangement of all parts and supplies, including dies, nibs, and collars.
• Safeguard inventories against theft, waste, and unauthorized use.
• Maintain and process accurate inventory records (data-entry and relieving).
• Issue parts and necessary tooling.
• Inspecting, receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Identify damaged inventory.
• Deliver parts and supplies to requestors as needed.
• Recognize wrong parts and correct the issue.
• Follow instructions and work under general supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing and vendor information.
