Job summary

Leggett & Platt is seeking a material handler to support production and shipping operations. You will position foam onto pallets, move flats along conveyors, and ensure proper ticketing for all materials. Uses hand trucks and other equipment as needed.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years of age, and the ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Prior material handling experience is preferred, with safety and accuracy emphasized in daily tasks.

  • Move finished and unfinished products as needed throughout operation.
  • Ensure all flats of material have tickets.
  • Use hand trucks, buggies, or other material handling equipment.
  • Assist in wrapping department as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
