Dee Zee, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Parts Hanger to handle, hang and unload parts on an overhead conveyor moving at up to 8–10 ft per minute. The role supports quality and environmental standards while working in an environment with elements such as coolant, dust, and noise.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience, can operate a hand truck, read work instructions, and maintain accurate records. High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to Dee Zee customers.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Must be able to operate hand truck.
• Must demonstrate computer literacy.
• Ability to inspect parts for company quality standards.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and control plan.
• Ability to set up line with proper hook configurations.
• Ability to stand at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning and sanding stripped boards.
• Operate a hand truck.
• Perform necessary testing to assure quality of parts in an environmentally safe state and maintain records.
• Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste and acting on environmental performance results and findings.
• Clean and change nozzles within the wash system.
• Dump/refill wash stages as needed.
• Fill out proper paperwork for quality standards.
