Job summary

Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking a Lead Industrial Maintenance Tech for their 1st shift in Des Moines, IA. You will schedule and manage a crew of Maintenance Technicians, providing training and oversight in various maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience in maintenance trades, with a preference for those with robotics and manufacturing experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and applicants should be able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in one or more of the maintenance trades.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Robotics experience- PLC how to write and troubleshoot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and direct crew of Maintenance Technicians.
• Conduct training and provide work direction.
• Perform skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.

Skills

Ability to utilize a variety of hand tools

Experience in one or more of the maintenance trades

Electrical knowledge

Troubleshooting skills

Education

Associates Degree preferred

Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred
