Job summary

Cleveland Brothers, the leading Cat dealership in Pennsylvania and surrounding regions, seeks a Parts Expeditor to join our team. You will provide quotes, process orders with Cat and allied vendors, and support multiple departments to ensure timely maintenance and repair work.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least three years in parts, strong communication and analytical skills, and a willingness to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; three years related experience and/or training.
• Above average communication skills as well as a mechanical aptitude.
• Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification is a plus but not required.
• Thorough knowledge of Cat parts delivery process and truck applications.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and process for Cat and allied vendors.
• Support all shop operations by ordering parts within a timely manner to complete work orders.
• Support Product Support, Field Sales, Inside Sales, Machine Sales, and Service.
• Communicate with supervisor, service manager, and service coordinator on order status of back-ordered items.
• Advise customers on substitution of parts when replacements are not available.
• Maintain accurate customer and equipment information in the CRM.
• Keep customers informed of new parts, services available, dealer merchandising program.
• Verify all parts are received to meet the repair schedule by checking orders in hold.

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Parts Expeditor.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Position Summary

Provide superior level of support to customers throughout the CBE Territory. Provide superior level of support to the Service Department. Work with customers to determine the best solution to parts needs. Provide support in identifying Caterpillar and Allied vendor parts needs for customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and process for Cat and allied vendors.
• Support all shop operations by ordering parts within a timely manner to complete work orders.
• Support Product Support, Field Sales, Inside Sales, Machine Sales, and Service.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the practices, programs, policies and procedures of the company and Cat parts delivery process.
• Thorough knowledge of truck applications and parts.
• Motivated self‑starter with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Considerable analytical abilities in interpreting pricing, schedule and delivery requirements.
• Excellent decision‑making and interpersonal skills and the ability to perform effectively in an environment of varying complexity, priorities and deadlines.

Education / Experience

Individual should have a high school diploma or equivalent; three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Individual should have above average communication skills as well as a mechanical aptitude. Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification is a plus but not required.
