Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group in Gary, Indiana is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver parts to customers and suppliers, while managing logs and providing support in the warehouse as needed. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, ideal for those who value teamwork and are keen to see the impact of their work daily.

We're looking for a Parts Driver who will be responsible for delivering parts to customers and picking up parts from suppliers for the dealership. This role is on the 1st Shift, M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Check before leaving to coordinate any last‑minute pick‑ups or deliveries.
• Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick‑up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick‑ups. Request recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
• Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Provide occasional assistance in the warehouse as needed.

Education and/or Required Experience:

• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• One plus years industry experience a plus.
