Job summary

Mullinax Ford of Olympia is looking for a dependable Parts Driver to join their team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering and picking up parts, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and warehouse, and supporting the parts department operations.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Parts Driver

Mullinax Ford is looking for a personable, hard-working team member who is self-motivated and effectively prioritizes tasks to join our multi-store enterprise. Prior dealership experience preferred but not required.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Load truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to parts
• Deliver & pick up parts as requested by parts department personnel
• Help receive part stock
• Put away stock in parts warehouse
• Keep truck clean and neat
• Report any malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately
• Assist in keeping parts department & warehouse clean
• Follow all Company procedures and standards
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements for this job:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have professional appearance and work ethic
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
• Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
• Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
