As a parts driver, your primary responsibility is to transport parts, materials, or supplies between locations, such as warehouses, suppliers, dealerships or repair shops. Here are some key duties and requirements typically associated with a parts driver position:

Job Duties:

• Delivering parts and supplies: Safely transport parts and materials from one location to another, following specified routes and delivery schedules.
• Loading and unloading: Assist in loading and unloading parts onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit.
• Verifying shipments: Confirm the accuracy of delivered items by checking the packing list or delivery order against the actual goods received.
• Maintaining records: Keep detailed records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmation, and any discrepancies in the delivered items.
• Vehicle maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Customer service: Provide excellent customer service to clients or customers upon delivery, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license: A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are essential for this role. You must also be 25 years of age or older.
• Physical fitness: As a parts driver, you may need to lift and carry heavy items, so physical strength and stamina are important.
• Time management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
