Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Warehouse/Dispatch Specialist in Milwaukie, Oregon to coordinate movement of parts between departments, vendors and service centers. You will verify lots, update inventory records, and transport parts safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years driving experience near the plant, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to organize information and materials, and attend to details.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with inventory control or data entry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and match part lots with paperwork before transporting to next location/vendor.
• Enter accurate inventory and location data into Visibility and EPMS systems.
• Move parts using hand tools, pallet jack, electric jack, forklifts and hoists.
• Load and unload and strap loads; update inventory control system with locations.
• Complete daily cycle counts; ensure accuracy of part movements.
