Job summary

WPX Courier, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Operations Agent to support daily warehouse and delivery operations in Portland, OR. Responsibilities include forklift operation, freight sorting, pallet building, driver communication, and using a barcode-scanning app on a smartphone.

Qualified candidates will lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 70 pounds occasionally, and work in a fast-paced logistics environment. A valid driver’s license and forklift capability are required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years’ experience in logistics, courier, supply chain services, 3PL or LTL management preferred.
Must hold a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR).
Able to safely operate a cargo van, medium duty box truck, and forklift.
Demonstrated knowledge of courier logistics and transportation management.
Able to read and follow roadmaps.
Must be able to pass background, TSA, and pre-employment drug checks.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound shipments and prepare outbound shipments.
Sort and route freight within the assigned territory.
Monitor all freight to meet security protocols and client requirements.
Direct and communicate with drivers to meet client service expectations.
Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries and drive performance metrics.
Ensure access control and safe operation of company vehicles and equipment.
